Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a multi-year program and oversee Quality Managers and inspectors. You will own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of QC staff, serving as the in-room expert when audits occur.

Pay ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, with travel implications. The role emphasizes leading internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification (ICC Special Inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and sustain it.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
