Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will lead Quality Managers and inspectors, drive internal and external audits, and mentor staff to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT quality frameworks across multi-year projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality management.
• 5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
