Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and relationships with owner quality groups, coaching QC staff and reporting to program leadership.

You will manage audits, corrective actions, and QC plan approvals, while oversight ensures conformance to ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT QA frameworks across projects and sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
