Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, while developing every QC person on the program.

You will lead Quality Managers and inspectors, drive internal and third-party audits, and oversee the corrective-action program to ensure compliance with ISO and DOT quality frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years in managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks; build a QC organization on a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
