Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

You manage Quality Managers I–II, lead audits (internal, owner, and third-party), approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and report metrics monthly. You make stop-work decisions on nonconformances and serve as the program's memory.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE).
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Ability to build a QC organization on a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own corrective-action program; approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
