Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior Construction Quality Manager III to lead quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, the relationship with the owner's quality organization, and the development of every QC person on the program.

Your role includes directing Quality Managers, coordinating audits, approving QC plans, reporting metrics monthly, and serving as the program's memory when specs change or staff rotate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
