Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, guiding Quality Managers and inspectors on site and across projects. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You set coverage, review performance, and develop staff; you lead internal audits and coordinate owner, agency, and third-party audits, and you approve QC plans and subcontractor

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
• Coaching of the Quality Manager and ensuring continuity across project changes.
