Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization. You will lead Quality Managers, approve QC plans, and report metrics to program leadership.

The role requires leading audits, developing staff, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT QA frameworks across multiple projects, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the program quality management system (plans, procedures, forms, audit schedule).
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report quality metrics monthly.
• Report test pass rates, NCR aging, and audit findings to program leadership.
