Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, developing every QC person on the program.

In this senior role you supervise Quality Managers and inspectors, lead internal audits, approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and report metrics to program leadership monthly. Travel per diem as assigned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
