Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting to you. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will lead internal and external audits, approve quality plans, and develop the QC staff. The role involves travel and long days, with pay $130,000–$160,000 and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certification: USACE CQM-C plus ICC Special Inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system including plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedules.
• Direct Quality Managers and staff across projects; monitor coverage and performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Report metrics and oversee corrective-action program; approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with standards across the program.
