Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing QC staff and the site quality management system.

You will lead audits, manage corrective actions, coordinate with the owner's quality organization, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT frameworks.

Pay ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, with travel as needed; Texas-based HQ in Sugar Land and project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading quality programs on large construction projects.
• Proven ability to build and manage a QC organization on multi-year programs.
• Strong knowledge of QA standards (ISO 9001, NQA-1, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and lab/subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
