Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality system, audit programs, and the owner’s quality relationship. You will develop each QC person on the program and supervise Quality Managers and inspectors.

Based in Texas with Sugar Land HQ, you’ll oversee audits, corrective actions, and the program’s memory, while coaching staff and ensuring conformance to ISO/NQA-1/DOT frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
