Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, and you develop every QC person on the program. When audits occur, you are the person in the room.

Pay ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, with travel as assigned; Texas-based Sugar Land headquarters and project sites elsewhere. This is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certifications such as USACE CQM-C, ICC Special Inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CMQ/OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the program quality management system, audits, and corrective actions.
• Direct Quality Managers I–III across projects and mentor staff.
• Lead internal, owner, agency, and third-party audits; report metrics monthly.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Represent quality in meetings with owners and superintendents; manage nonconformance decisions.
