Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system and audit program. You will manage Quality Managers and inspectors, drive corrective actions, and interact with the owner's quality organization to ensure compliance.

You will lead audits, approve QC plans, and report metrics, with oversight across multi-year projects and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
