Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to lead quality across a major program, directing Quality Managers and inspectors. You will own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, while developing every QC person on the program.

When an agency or owner audits the project, you are the person in the room.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain it to plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across multiple projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate owner, agency, and third‑party audits; oversee corrective actions.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly; approve Qc plans and subcontractor qualifications.
