Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You will own the site quality management system, audit program, and development of QC staff, coordinating with owners and auditors on complex projects.

Responsibilities include establishing the quality management framework, leading audits, and reporting metrics to program leadership. Travel and long days are common on major placements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
