Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the QC system, audits, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, coaching inspectors and building a strong QC team.

Expect responsibility for multi-year projects, direct QC managers, and oversight of corrective actions, with frequent audits and metrics reporting to program leadership. Long days and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification required; multiple categories preferred.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
• Be the program's memory: oversee revisions to specs, owner changes, and staff rotations.
