Accura Engineering is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector in Louisville, KY, to oversee compliance with plans and specs across multiple construction phases on federal projects. The ideal candidate has extensive DoD/USACE experience and will deliver detailed surveillance reports, monitor progress, and verify safety practices on site.

Responsibilities include preparing engineering documentation, reviewing submittals, and supporting contract modifications while coordinating with the project team

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; construction degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on large federal construction projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Experience with vertical hospital construction is highly preferred.
• Familiar with NFPA 101, NFPA 70, IPC, NFPA 13/72, ASHRAE/NEBB as applicable.

Aufgaben

• Deliver surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure project meets engineering standards and codes.
• Inspect and complete daily site reports including progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
• Observe phases for schedule compliance; identify problems and propose changes.
• Prepare engineering plans or reports.
• Support all phases of contract modifications.
• Review contractor plans and submittals for approval including shop drawings.
• Monitor progress and advise project team on potential delays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
