Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specifications to government personnel.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with engineering standards, codes, specs and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and complete daily site reports; comment on progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
• Observes and investigates construction phases for compliance with schedules, specs, and shop drawings; identify problems and propose changes.
• Prepares complete engineering plans or reports.
• Assists in all phases of contract modification process.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules, environmental and safety programs, and shop drawings.
• Monitors progress of all construction activities and advises on potential delays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
