Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector in Louisville, KY to oversee surveillance across all construction phases, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards.

The role requires strong technical expertise and experience with federal programs. Must have extensive knowledge of applicable codes and the ability to review and approve contractor submittals, schedules, and environmental/safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience on large, complex federal construction inspection projects.
• Experience with DoD or USACE preferred.
• Experience with vertical hospital construction preferred.
• Working knowledge of relevant codes and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all construction phases for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with codes and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress and safety notes.
• Observes construction phases, identifies issues, and suggests changes or contract mods.
• Reviews contractor schedules and submittals for approvals.
• Monitors progress and advises on potential delays to the project team.
• Utilizes RMS for project data entry and reporting.
• Assists in all phases of the contract modification process.
