Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector for a Louisville, KY project with duties across site surveillance, reporting, and coordination with government personnel. The role emphasizes adherence to plans, specifications, and safety requirements.

You will review submittals, monitor progress, and prepare reports while ensuring quality control across phases of construction for a large federal project. A strong background in construction management and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with construction/inspection background.
• Bachelors/Assoc degree in Construction related field preferred.
• Experience on large federal DoD/USACE projects is highly valued.
• Experience with building codes and life safety standards.
• Familiarity with RMS 3.0 and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with codes and standards.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with comments on progress and safety.
• Observes construction phases and recommends changes; assesses need for contract modifications.
• Prepares engineering plans or reports and assists in contract modifications.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions and safety programs.
• Monitors progress and informs project team of potential delays.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
