Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction (QA) Inspector to oversee compliance on federal projects in Louisville, KY. You will deliver surveillance reports, review shop drawings, and monitor safety, quality, and schedules with DoD/USACE standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or higher and 10+ years of construction contract administration and inspection experience, including vertical construction and familiarity with NFPA, NEC, IPC codes.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED minimum; associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience on construction contract administration and inspection projects, Federal DoD/USACE preferred.
• Experience with vertical/ hospital construction is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with engineering standards, codes and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports including progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
• Observes construction phases for compliance with schedules and shop drawings; identifies problems and recommends changes.
• Reviews contractor schedules and submittals for approval; supports contract modification process.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays; uses RMS.
