Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction (QA) Inspector to support a Louisville, KY project.

You will deliver surveillance reports on all construction phases to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and workmanship while providing technical guidance to government personnel. The role demands a high school diploma or GED with extensive inspection experience; preferred with an associate or bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; related construction education preferred.
• 10+ years of applicable construction contract administration/inspection experience on large DoD/USACE projects preferred.
• Experience with vertical hospital construction and relevant codes is advantageous.
• Ability to review contractor schedules, plans, and submittals for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans, specs, workmanship, and methods.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project complies with standards, codes, and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with progress, safety, and subcontractor details.
• Observes construction phases, identifies problems, recommends changes, and assesses need for modifications.
• Prepares complete engineering plans or reports and reviews contractor schedules.
• Assists in all phases of the contract modification process and reviews submittals.
• Monitors progress and informs the project team of potential delays; utilizes RMS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
