Job summary

Kokosing in Leesburg, VA seeks a Project Executive to provide senior-level oversight for one or more large-scale construction projects. The PX will lead the project delivery team, coordinate subcontractors and self-perform trades, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget goals are met through direct supervision or via subordinate managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• PE and/or DBIA credentialing is not required but is a strong plus.
• 10+ years’ experience/knowledge of construction, contracts, design, finance, and management.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains project and company culture through active engagement and communication.
• Initiates liaison with prime client to facilitate project delivery.
• Establishes objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Allocates work plans, duties, and staffing; recruits as needed.
• Directs activities to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Prepares reports and provides technical guidance to resolve issues.
• Coordinates with governmental agencies and subcontractors.
