Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Project Executive to provide senior management oversight and delivery for one or more large-scale construction projects.

This role leads the project delivery team, coordinates with subcontractors, and maintains strong client relationships to achieve goals on time and within budget. The PX oversees project objectives, staffing, and performance standards, while mentoring team members and participating in strategic market planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• PE and/or DBIA credentialing is not required but is a strong plus.
• 10+ years' experience/knowledge of construction, contracts, design, finance, and management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project and company culture through active engagement, open communication, personal connection and support for all team members and stakeholders.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate project delivery.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate/client policies.
• Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties/responsibilities and delegate authority.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project; coordinates with senior management for recruitment and assignment of project personnel.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget; reviews/finalizes plans and resources.
• Reviews status reports and modifies schedules/plans as needed.
• Prepares project reports for management/client; resolves problems with project personnel.
• Coordinates project activities with governmental agencies and subcontractors; manages CPM-based schedules and on-site direction.
• Mentor and develop team members; participate in strategic planning for assigned markets.
