Applegreen is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our U.S. Developments Team and drive delivery on one of America’s largest Travel Plaza Redevelopment programs.

This is not a single-site role and involves ownership of multiple projects across several states, transforming travel plazas, fuel facilities, and QSR locations. We look for someone who wants to grow with the business, take ownership of meaningful projects, and guide them through design, permitting, procurement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, permitting, procurement and project delivery.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent construction and development projects across several states.
• Act as Construction Project Manager and Owner's Rep to protect Applegreen's interests.
• Lead projects from concept through turnover and opening.
• Develop and manage project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and authorities.
• Ensure safety, on-time delivery, within budget and quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditures.
• Review pricing, change orders and cost proposals.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor selection.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, and delivery risks.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor progress.
• Review construction documents for completeness and coordination.
• Support commissioning, closeout, punch lists and turnover.
• Maintain open communication with Development, Operations, Design, Restaurant Brands and Construction Teams.
• Prepare reports, risk registers, and executive summaries.
• Present progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
