Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Account Executive, Construction Loss Sensitive, to partner with agents and brokers for new and renewal business. The AE will assess risk, underwrite and negotiate accounts, and drive profitability while building strong internal and external relationships across the enterprise.

The role requires travel to meetings with agents and brokers, knowledge of construction loss sensitive products, and a track record in underwriting and sales.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of underwriting experience focused on construction loss sensitive.
• Knowledge of construction loss sensitive products, the regulatory environment, and the local insurance market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Develop agency sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Travel to meet with agents and brokers to market Travelers products.
• Collaborate with internal partners to execute regional sales plans.
