Job summary

Gordian is seeking an Account Manager to provide professional client support and training for Job Order Contracting products and services within a defined geographic area.

The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, driving renewals and upsells, managing project support, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet KPIs. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in construction procurement are required, with travel 50–70% within South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting related experience in healthcare construction.
• Consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and balance client deliverables with internal obligations.
• Experience with construction bid documents is a plus.
• Valid US driver's license; travel 50–70% within the South Carolina area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert of construction contracts, proposals and operations to drive client retention, renewals and satisfaction.
• Oversee project support including scope development, material take-offs, proposal review and construction management.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on day-to-day operational processes including contract renewals and scheduling.
• Identify root causes of customer success and failures; drive requirements for process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand goals and exceed KPIs.
• Maintain superior customer service and operational excellence.
• Hire and develop staff with objective setting and performance reviews.
• Participate in budget development, revenue forecasting and profit-loss management.
• Work with Sales and Business Operations to develop annual program usage and benchmarks.
• Deliver program reviews to client senior management.
• Assist sales in discovering business opportunities beyond JOC.
