Job summary

Gordian is seeking an Account Manager to deliver results through our construction data and Job Order Contracting expertise. Based in Charleston, SC, you will manage client accounts, provide training on Gordian products, and coordinate with finance for billing while traveling within the assigned geography.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to drive renewals, upsells and client satisfaction, developing staff and guiding program objectives across healthcare and government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of construction procurement, construction management, or related experience.
• Knowledge of plans, deliverables, scope and tasks.
• Confident communication skills and ability to work with all levels.
• Valid US driver’s license; remote role with 50-70% travel within SC.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned account(s); build positive relationships with customers and contractors.
• Serve as subject matter expert on contracts, proposals and operations to drive client retention, renewals, upsells and satisfaction.
• Oversight of project support including scope development, material take-offs, proposal review, and construction management.
• Provide software training to client and contractor staff and coordinate with internal teams on processes.
• Identify root causes of customer success/failure and drive process improvements.
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and exceed them yearly.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and program usage reporting for clients.
