Job summary

Gordian in Baton Rouge is seeking an Account Manager to deliver training and support for Job Order Contracting products. You will work with clients to optimize procurement, review contracts, and guide price proposals using Gordian data.

Travel 50-70% within the assigned geographic area; read construction plans and specifications, train contractors, and ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets. Fortive-backed company offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience.
5+ years of construction project management, procurement, or related experience.
Strong knowledge of public/private construction operations, pricing and contracting.
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain schedules of detailed activities to accomplish procurement objectives within a specified time period for clients.
Read and understand construction plans and specifications; review price proposals and construct detailed line-item proposals.
Train contractors in Gordian software, client procedures, and assist in bid processes.
Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
