Job summary

Gordian is seeking an Account Manager to provide expert support and training for Job Order Contracting products in the Charleston, SC area. You will manage client relationships, drive renewals and upsells, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet annual goals.

The role requires construction knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 70% within South Carolina, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in construction procurement, management, or related field.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills across levels.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% within the assigned geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned account(s); build positive relationships with customers and contractors.
• Serve as subject matter expert on construction contracts, proposals and operations to drive retention and renewals.
• Oversee project support including scope development, take-offs, proposals, and construction management.
• Coordinate with Account Managers on contract renewals, scheduling, and training.
• Identify root causes of customer success and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals and deliver insights.
• Provide input on new processes and workflow; maintain high service levels.
• Assist finance on billing setup and invoicing; support program reviews.
