Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to lead the development and administration of compensation programs, including pay-for-performance, salary structure design and modeling, and incentive plans. The role requires strong data analysis, market studies and knowledge of wage/hour laws.

The position involves interpreting regulations, supporting internal policy development, and ensuring pay structures are competitive and equitable across Providence St. Joseph Health.

Qualifications

• 5+ years compensation experience including data collection and analysis, working knowledge of compensation systems, wage & hour laws and exempt classifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science or related field; CCP designation preferred or required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Providence compensation programs and policies.
• Design and model salary structures, pay-for-performance, complex costing scenarios and incentive plans.
• Conduct market analyses and job analyses to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
• Interpret regulatory guidelines and collective bargaining agreements for compensation items.
• Provide costing, recommendations and support for internal policy development in compensation.
