MongoDB is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to serve as the dedicated compensation partner for the Sales organization, supporting VP and Director-level leaders and HRBP partners as the primary day-to-day resource.

The ideal candidate will build compensation programs, tools, and frameworks, bring deep experience with Sales incentives, own end-to-end compensation cycles, and influence senior stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of compensation experience, with focus on Sales
• End-to-end ownership of cyclical Sales compensation programs
• Strong understanding of incentive-plan governance and modeling

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated compensation partner for the Sales organization, supporting leaders and People Partners across Sales
• Provide data-informed guidance on offers, equity, leveling, promotions, retention actions, and out-of-cycle requests
• Own Sales compensation-cycle execution end-to-end, including market benchmarking, budget modeling, and leadership rollups
• Lead competitive intelligence for Sales roles, researching compensation trends and pay structures
• Partner with Recruiting and People Partners on market insights and competitive positioning for hires at all levels
• Analyze compensation programs using data and stakeholder feedback; suggest improvements aligned with pay-for-performance
• Lead strategic projects such as incentive-plan governance, job architecture, or compensation-planning tool implementations
• Develop manager enablement materials and training on compensation philosophy
