Gusto is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to lead compensation programs, ensure internal equity, and align pay with market realities. The role partners with HRBPs, Finance, and Legal to design scalable, data-driven compensation strategies in a fast-growing tech environment.

With a systems-first mindset and active use of AI tools, you will shape policy, drive fairness, and build trusted processes that scale as the company grows. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Compensation or related analytical function.
• AI fluency and ability to use automation in analysis.
• Experience running compensation cycles (merit, equity, benchmarking).
• Knowledge of FLSA, pay transparency laws, and pay equity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and communicate compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and senior leadership to translate philosophy into actionable programs.
• Lead annual compensation cycles end-to-end from data collection to communication.
• Perform market analyses and benchmarking to set pay ranges and offer positioning.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis while ensuring data quality and guardrails.
• Build scalable workflows and dashboards for real-time pay insights and budget tracking.
