Gusto is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to build and scale compensation programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent. You will partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and leaders to ensure market reality aligns with company values.

Operating with a systems-first, AI-native mindset, you will automate analyses, create scalable workflows, and build dashboards for real-time pay equity insights and budget utilization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Compensation/Total Rewards or related analytical function.
• AI fluency with hands-on use of AI tools or automation.
• Experience running compensation cycles (merit, equity, benchmarking) and scalable programs.
• Survey benchmarking experience with Radford/Aon, Mercer, Pave, or similar.
• Systems-first approach with automated reports and workflows.
• Strong analytical foundation with advanced spreadsheet skills and data visualization.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and communicate compensation programs, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Finance, and senior leadership to translate philosophy into programs.
• Lead annual compensation cycles end-to-end from data collection to communication.
• Perform market analyses and benchmarking to set pay ranges and offer positions.
• Use AI and automation to accelerate analysis while safeguarding data quality and guardrails.
• Design scalable compensation workflows and tooling for reliable recurring analyses.
