Job summary

SullivanCotter is seeking a data-driven compensation analyst to conduct analyses and benchmark positions with a focus on high-quality client service. You’ll work on market pricing, peer group selection, survey analyses, and financial modeling under guidance.

Remote or hybrid setup, strong Excel skills and clear client communications are essential as you collaborate with healthcare-focused teams to deliver practical compensation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (required), ideally with emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting or health care administration.
• 2+ years of business-related experience, preferably involving data analysis, financial modeling and presentation design.
• Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to: identify, compile, analyze and organize data; recognize patterns; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand industry and client-specific issues, including financial information, compensation and rewards and corporate performance, with guidance
• Research, gather and analyze data to determine the appropriate compensation level (e.g., salary, incentives) and job title/reporting level for existing and proposed positions
• Market pricing, assist in peer group selection, survey analyses, interpret compensation data, financial modeling and special research projects, with guidance
• Assist with report and proposal writing as it relates to describing and summarizing project objectives, methodologies, analysis and results as well as proofing for accuracy
• Support the project team in the development of solutions to address client issues including program design alternatives, financial impact and implementation considerations
• Respond to client-related requests, as appropriate
• Participate in appropriate Client Delivery Team meetings to understand team and client initiatives
