Job summary

SullivanCotter seeks a Compensation Analyst to conduct market pricing and benchmarking, designing total compensation programs for healthcare and not-for-profit clients. You’ll deliver data-driven insights with a laser focus on client experience and outcomes.

Remote or hybrid work settings. Base salary range listed with comprehensive benefits; a business degree and 2+ years of data analysis, financial modeling, and presenting findings are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (required), ideally with an emphasis in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, accounting or health care administration.
• 2+ years of business-related experience, preferably involving data analysis, financial modeling and presentation design.
• Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to identify, compile, analyze and organize data using a logical process.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor messages to the audience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills; detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in a team; adaptable to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to understand industry and client-specific issues, including financial information, compensation and rewards and corporate performance, with guidance
• Research, gather and analyze data to determine the appropriate compensation level (e.g., salary, incentives) and job title/reporting level for existing and proposed positions
• Conduct market pricing, assist in peer group selection, survey analyses, interpret compensation data, financial modeling and special research projects, with guidance
• Assist with report and proposal writing as it relates to describing and summarizing project objectives, methodologies, analysis and results as well as proofing for accuracy
• Support the project team in the development of solutions to address client issues including program design alternatives, financial impact and implementation considerations
• Respond to client-related requests, as appropriate
• Participate in appropriate Client Delivery Team meetings to understand team and client initiatives
