Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Property Manager to lead and oversee community operations. You will work with associations, Boards of Directors, developers, and staff to maintain and operate the property in line with company objectives.

The role requires strong supervisory and customer service skills, plus experience in managing budgets, vendor relations, and construction projects. A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree preferred but not mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in Property Management, Hotel and/or Retail preferred.
• Strong customer service principles and practices required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, or documents.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of state statutes and community documents.
• Analyze options and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
• Provide leadership to manage relationships and ensure high service levels.
• Develop and maintain a homeowners relations plan and budgets.
• Initiate contact with new homeowners and provide orientation to staff and community.
• Manage resident relationships and resolve concerns promptly.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Build industry contacts through trade associations and networking.
• Supervise projects by Facilities Manager and ensure quality.
• Ensure safety standards and adherence to company policies.
• Attend manager meetings and prepare board presentation materials.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, bids, and contracts as needed.
