Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to lead on-site operations for a housing community. You will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will develop budgets and marketing plans, manage rent collections, and coordinate emergency responses. Strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of housing regulations are essential; CAM/ARM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts; monitor rent collections and vendor invoices.
• Plan marketing strategies, lease activities, and resident retention programs.
• Head on-site emergency response and coordinate maintenance and service requests.
