Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As the on-site leader, you will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration to ensure compliance with Asset Living’s policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will develop annual budgets, monitor rent collections, coordinate marketing plans, and drive resident retention.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and use on-site property management software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop annual operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor rent deposits, collections, and charges.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Develop marketing plans and leasing reporting; drive retention.
• Head emergency team and manage property emergencies.
