Job summary

Asset Living seeks an experienced on-site Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community, leading staff, leasing, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

You will develop annual operating budgets, monitor financials, and implement resident retention and marketing plans, while coordinating emergency responses and property maintenance. A CAM/ARM or related housing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Supervise all aspects of property and staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; monitor performance and provide guidance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges; ensure timely reporting and reconciliation.
• Manage vendor invoices and property expenses on a timely basis.
• Ensure property appearances and make-readies with regular inspections.
• Lead emergency response for the property and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
