Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the full operation of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will manage leasing, maintenance, financials, and risk, while supervising on-site staff and ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree or housing experience preferred. CAM/ARM certification is a plus, and basic computer skills are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Manage all phases of the operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise all on-site staff and ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies
• Handle resident relations and retention programs
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure safety compliance.
