Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community, lead a property team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

You will drive leasing, revenue, and expense controls while maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction and property condition. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to lead and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into the development of budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and market information.
• Sets rent rates to meet targeted revenues and ensures timely collection and reporting of rents and fees.
• Approves invoices, manages certificates of insurance, and coordinates with vendors and accounting.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and manages petty cash and expenses.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applicant screening, renewals, inspections, notices, and evictions as needed.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to inform short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests and ensuring maintenance standards.
