Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction to lead Testing & Commissioning (T&Cx) activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP.

You will develop proposals, plan preconstruction, and define scope, estimates, and schedules with internal teams and clients. The role can be fully remote or hybrid, with regular in- office presence in the San Diego, CA office; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in commissioning utility-scale electrical or renewable-energy projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits and specifications.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive timely decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream during BD and through contract execution.
• Coordinate inputs across estimating, planning, and technical teams.
• Develop and review commissioning plans, estimates, and schedules.
• Lead client communications on scope, risks, and commitments.
