Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning (T&Cx) activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP, shaping scope, estimates, schedules, and contract exhibits with internal and external stakeholders.

The role can be fully remote or hybrid, with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA office; specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in commissioning of utility-scale electrical or renewable-energy projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, exhibits, and specifications.
• Proven ability to develop commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream from BD through LNTP, coordinating technical, commercial, estimating and planning inputs.
• Lead integration of commissioning scope, estimates, schedules, and deliverables into project development.
• Develop and present SOLV’s standard commissioning requirements to clients and manage risk reviews.
• Maintain commissioning plans, evidence, and turnover requirements aligned with contract standards.
• Handoff to CPM & Portfolio Delivery with clear contractual requirements and open risks.
