Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to own Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP.

You will drive estimates, contract requirements, and baseline schedules, coordinating with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Operations to ensure executable commitments. Role supports remote or hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA; travel to projects nationwide may be required to align with client needs and project

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commissioning utility-scale electrical or renewable-energy projects, including planning and scope development.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits, specs, and acceptance requirements.
• Proven experience developing commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream during BD and through contract execution.
• Coordinate inputs across SCADA, Performance Engineering, PV, HV and BESS commissioning SMEs.
• Lead development of commissioning plans, exhibits, and schedule milestones.
• Handoff commissioning packages to CPM & Portfolio Delivery with clear responsibilities.
• Maintain commissioning requirements registers linking obligations to deliverables.
