Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning for PV, BESS, and HV across BD to LNTP.

You will develop estimates, schedules, and commissioning plans, and coordinate with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Contracts teams to align objectives and assure contractual conformance. The role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office work in San Diego, CA; regular travel may be required to project sites and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive commissioning experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts and commissioning exhibits.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage scope.
• Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling tools (P6), and document control.

Responsibilities

• Own the T&C workstream from BD through LNTP and contract execution.
• Coordinate inputs across engineering, estimating, and safety.
• Develop and maintain commissioning plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Lead the handoff to operations with clear documentation.
• Present commissioning requirements to clients and resolve deviations.
