Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction to lead Testing & Commissioning (T&Cx) for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP.

This role requires coordinating estimates, schedules, and contractual exhibits, and partnering with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Field teams to deliver an aligned commissioning package. The position supports a flexible work arrangement, with in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in commissioning utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits and specifications.
• Proven ability to develop commissioning estimates, schedules and plans.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream during BD and through contract execution.
• Coordinate input from SCADA, Performance Engineering, PV, HV and BESS teams.
• Review commissioning exhibits, scope language, assumptions, and exclusions; coordinate revisions.
• Lead development of SOLV’s commissioning requirements and ensure alignment with contract standards.
• Maintain commissioning plan, schedule logic, and evidence of completion.
