Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction to own Testing & Commissioning (T&Cx) for PV, BESS and HV from BD through LNTP. You will coordinate technical, commercial, and planning inputs, develop estimates, and lead commissioning plans and exhibits with internal teams and clients.

The role supports remote or hybrid work with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA office; travel to project sites may be required as part of execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive commissioning/preconstruction experience on utility-scale electrical or renewable projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream during BD through LNTP, coordinating technical, commercial, estimating, and planning inputs.
• Lead development of commissioning plans, schedules, and exhibits aligned with contract requirements.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Engineering, SCADA, Performance Engineering, and Field Teams to integrate scope and deliverables.
• Represent Testing & Commissioning in EPC contract reviews and negotiate commissioning scope with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain commissioning estimates, schedules, and progress tracking; ensure evidence and acceptance criteria are in place.
