Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP. You will own estimates, scope definition, and the unified commissioning schedule across PV, BESS, HV, SCADA, Performance, and supporting systems.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA office. Travel to sites as needed and collaboration with Preconstruction, Engineering, OT/SCADA,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive commissioning experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts and commissioning exhibits.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream from BD through LNTP.
• Coordinate inputs across SCADA, PV, BESS, HV and other teams.
• Lead development of commissioning plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Interface with contracts/legal to negotiate exhibits.
• Handoff to CPM & Portfolio Delivery with all requirements.
